The Faculty of Environmental Technology evaluated sectional reports and doctoral dissertation overview of PhD student Nguyen Duy Thanh

On March 7th and 8th, 2024, the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Environmental Technology – Graduate University of Science and Technology evaluated sectional reports and doctoral dissertation overview of Mr. Nguyen Duy Thanh.

Members of the Scientific Council include:

Prof. Nguyen Thi Hue – Chairman of the Council; Assoc. Prof. Duong Thi Thuy – Member; Dr. Dang Thi Thom – Member, Secretary.

PhD student Nguyen Duy Thanh had presented:

Overview of the doctoral dissertation: Evaluation of the accumulation of microplastics and their related chemical components in the coastal environment and analysis methods;

Report no. 1: Overview of current methods of sampling and analyzing microplastics;

Report no. 2: Evaluation of the accumulation and characteristics of microplastics in the body of green mussels and the environment in the coastal area of ​​Quang Ninh;

Report no. 3: Assessment of chemical components related to microplastics accumulated in green mussels and sediments in the coastal area of ​​Quang Ninh.

Discussions, critical comments, and suggestions were given to Mr. Nguyen Duy Thanh and his supervisors for revision and improvement of the doctoral dissertation and three sectional reports.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Thanh expressed his appreciation for the constructive opinions of the Council and his willingness to revise his work accordingly.
